Un jardín botánico único en Europa y está en San Martín de Valdeiglesias. Se trata de un jardín cuajado de flores, árboles maravillosos, plantas especiales y, lo que le da la gracia, más de 320 esculturas geniales que conforman los setos podados con formas diferentes y distribuidos por temas. Hay un camino que se llama la Ruta de las Aves, con seto podados con formas de aves. Otro es la Ruta de los Inventos y en él encontramos un seto con forma de helicóptero u otro con forma de tren. Está a Ruta de los Habitantes del Bosque, con setos en forma de ardillas, de ciervos…. Pero hay mucho más.
El Bosque Encantado se complementa con laberintos, exposiciones de cactus, bonsáis, plantas aromáticas, etc., en el que niños, y no tan niños, podrán pasar unas horas inolvidables dentro de un entorno mágico por donde además transita un arroyo, y que en uno de los rincones del jardín se deja caer una de las pocas cascadas naturales de la Sierra Oeste, la cascada Barbellido, unos metros más adelante del nacimiento del arroyo Las Casetas.

Resulta un lugar mágico para los peques y los menos peques. El paseo es súper agradable y muy cómodo para todos. Resulta un plan muy original para hacer en Madrid.

Lo elegimos, sin duda, para pasar un día tranquilo de campo. La idea es dar un paseo por allí, divertirse con las formas especiales de sus setos, admirar el maravilloso paisaje de la sierra madrileña y comer algo allí. Hay un bar restaurante que abre en fin de semana y desde cuya terraza divisas perfectamente un parque genial de columpios de madera. Y también hay un merendero en el que comer el bocata que traigas de casa.
